The No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels were without Kewan Lacy in the 52-28 Week 4 loss to the No. 16 Florida Gators, as the star running back was dealing with a shoulder injury. After enjoying a bye in Week 5, it sounds like Lacy is finally set to return.

Reports indicate that the Rebels are expecting the junior ball carrier to be available in the Week 6 clash against the Vanderbilt Commodores, according to Pete Nakos of On3 Sports. Head coach Pete Golding revealed that he may utilize a committee approach in the backfield, but it depends on Lacy's health during the game.

“Pete Golding announced that he ‘fully anticipates having' running back Kewan Lacy back this week at Vanderbilt,” Nakos reported. “Plans to use a constant RB rotation based on Lacy's health. Missed the loss at Florida after exiting the LSU game with a shoulder injury.”
