On Sunday afternoon, the Philadelphia Eagles took their second straight by blowing a ten-point fourth quarter lead and falling at home to the Los Angeles Rams. To say the Eagles were hit hard by injuries in this game would be an understatement, as the team found itself without several key players, including running back Saquon Barkley, by the time the contest ended.

Pass rusher Jonathan Greenard went down with an ankle injury at one point in the contest, but thankfully, the team got a positive update on his status on Monday.

“#Eagles edge Jonathan Greenard, who exited Sunday’s game early with an ankle injury, is considered day-to-day, sources say. Not a major injury,” reported NFL insider Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network on X, formerly Twitter.

Meanwhile, the team was also without offensive lineman Lane Johnson, who missed this one due to an undisclosed personal issue.

“#Eagles HC Nick Sirianni said there is no update on RT Lane Johnson, who was ruled out Sunday due to a personal matter,” reported Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team on X, formerly Twitter.

The Eagles controlled this game for most of the way but fell apart at the end, giving up two straight touchdown marches from the Rams, the first of which went for 98 yards, en route to the loss.

Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts and the offense were left without answers due to the momentum swing and the sheer volume of injuries Philadelphia sustained on the afternoon.

The Eagles will next hit the field next Sunday for a game vs the Jacksonville Jaguars.
