The Ohio State Buckeyes have Maryland coming to town for an October 10 game that will give Jeremiah Smith a chance to resume his Heisman campaign. Two receivers were listed as questionable for the Buckeyes, stoking concerns ahead of another round of injury updates.
Several others are ailing including an offensive lineman and a cornerback who could be needed for coach Ryan Day's team's upcoming game, according to On3.
“The Buckeyes have listed a number of starters as questionable ahead of Saturday's game against Maryland. Ohio State starting receivers Devin McCuin and Brandon Iniss are questionable, along with right tackle Phillip Daniels, linebacker Christian Alliegro and cornerback Jay Timmons.”
Daniels is a former Minnesota transfer who has only played in two games so far this season. McCuin and Inniss rank second and third, respectively, behind Smith in receiving with 27 combined catches this season. If the three injured Buckeyes can't play, new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith's team could be in for a surprisingly tough day against Mike Locksley's group.
