The Chicago Bulls will visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. The Bulls are off to a 1-5 start. Meanwhile, center Nic Claxton has been out with a hamstring injury sustained during a preseason practice. On Monday, Claxton was listed as doubtful on the NBA injury report. In other words, he may play, but it is far from guaranteed. Here is everything we know about Nic Claxton and his playing status vs. the 76ers.
Nic Claxton's injury status vs. 76ers

With Nic Claxton listed as doubtful, he may or may not suit up. Claxton hasn't seen any minutes either in the preseason or regular season.
In June, the Bulls acquired Claxton in a 3-way trade with the Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Nets received Julius Randle and a draft pick. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves got No.33 draft pick Mouhamadou Gueye.
The Nets drafted Claxton with the 31st overall pick in 2019. Last year, he averaged 11.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game while making 69 appearances.
The Bulls brought him in for size, rim protection, and defense. For a long time, the Bulls have lacked in this area. Claxton brings added athleticism and a pedigree that includes being a candidate for Defensive Player of the Year in 2022-23.
On Sunday, Claxton fully participated in practice, per K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Sports Network.
So, whether Claxton will play tonight against the 76ers, the answer is maybe not.
