Welcome back for Week 2 of the 2026 NFL season. The season got off to a bang last week tying the record for highest scoring opening week ever. We’ll see if high scoring remains the name of the game, but it resulted in some wild results.

The biggest surprise was the Giants thumping the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. But we also saw the 49ers upset the Rams in Australia, the Jets spring the small upset as they handled the Titans, the Bills put up big points against a quality Texans defense, and the Bears impressed with 59 points.

Last week, was a little all over the place. I split on my high confidence picks thanks to the Chargers stinking up the joint in their loss to the Chargers. I was 7-1 in my medium confidence picks and 1-5 in my low confidence picks, setting me up at 9-7 for Week 1.

We’re back for another week of picks. I pick games straight up with winners and losers, but I also provide a confidence level. I’ll pick each game’s winner and slot the picks based on confidence levels — high, medium, low, and no. A game with three asterisks (***) after it indicates a game where I’m picking the betting underdog to get the win. Whether you have to assign confidence points or not, this will help you know where I’m standing with the picks. And within each group, I’ve ordered them based on confidence within the confidence level.

As always for transparency’s sake, I’m a 49ers fan, so every week you should take that pick with a grain of salt.
