A former Pro Bowl punter with the Indianapolis Colts, McAfee retired during the prime of his career to start the Pat McAfee Show. Over time, the show became one of the most viewed pieces of media on YouTube. After signing a deal with Barstool, then leaving to start Pat McAfee Inc. (PMI), McAfee has been a constant fixture throughout the sports world. His new home with ESPN has propelled McAfee into possibly the most well-known sports personality in the nation, if not the world.

The fact that the NFL has allowed him to bring Field Pass to its biggest game of the season is evidence of that. McAfee's popularity extends beyond traditional sports media into places like WWE, where he has wrestled and commentated, and into film and other media as well. If Field Pass continues to be a success, don't be surprised to see McAfee's content across even more of ESPN's platforms, as many tune in to watch what feat he'll do next.
