The latest shakeup in the WWE roster has seemingly suggested the in-ring retirement of two celebrated veterans. It now seems that both Bobby Roode and Titus O'Neil may have finished their WWE in-ring careers.

Today, Roode and O’Neil were taken off the active roster on the official WWE website, and their profiles were moved to the WWE Alumni section. This took place following lengthy absences of both Roode and O'Neil from wrestling matches, although they have continued their work with WWE in other capacities.

Roode’s last match dates back to Jun. 2022, when he was defeated by Omos at an untelevised WWE live event in Amarillo, Texas. His last televised match was the 2022 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal before WWE WrestleMania 38. Despite his run as a former NXT Champion, Roode, a former TNA star, never reached his peak on the main roster.

Throughout his run on WWE's main roster, Roode remained a mid-card wrestler but enjoyed a successful tag-team run with Dolph Ziggler, aka Nic Nemeth, in his final tenure. While Roode did not participate in wrestling matches, he was heavily involved in WWE's creative side of things, as seen on Unreal on Netflix.

On the other hand, O'Neil's absence runs longer than Roode's. His last in-ring bout was against Bobby Lashley in Non. 2020 on Monday Night RAW. He is a former WWE Tag Team Champion with Darren Young. O'Neil is also the former leader of Titus Worldwide. While O'Neil stayed away from in-ring competition, he remained under contract with WWE, serving as the company’s Global Ambassador.
