With 14 games on the schedule, we have most of the league in action, which means plenty of options for today’s NBA Best Bets list. So, what are the best ones?

I’ve got a few ideas for you. Check out my best NBA picks below:

Charlotte Hornets vs. Brooklyn Nets

Neither team has a lot going for it. Charlotte is coming off its fourth straight loss, 124-91 vs. Detroit. Brooklyn finally got off the winless list the other night against Indiana but followed that game up with a loss to the Knicks.

If it wasn’t for these two teams playing out to a 110-103 final a few days ago, I’d suggest the UNDER. When two bad teams play, lackluster offenses don’t become good. Playing against a poor defensive team helps, but that goes both ways, so does it really?

My Pick: Charlotte -3.5 at -110

With Kon Knueppel and Coby White expected to play, the Hornets will be good enough on offense to beat a bad Brooklyn team by at least five points. If Knueppel and White were out, I’d lean towards the UNDER, but since they are probable, take Charlotte and lay the points.

Our Current Best Offers

Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs

Before you assume the Spurs will cover an 11.5-point spread because Sa Antonio beat Dallas not too long ago by 16 points. However, the Mavericks did not have Kyrie Irving or Cooper Flagg for that game. San Antonio, on the other hand, had its A-team on the court.

Dallas is coming off a loss to the Sacramento Kings Monday night, a game Kyrie Irving did not play in. With him and Flagg, the Mavericks offense becomes more formidable. San Antonio has a good defense, but it won’t shut down Flagg and Irving.

My Pick: Dallas +11.5 at -112

San Antonio will win this game because they are the better team. But the duo of Kyrie Irving and Cooper Flagg will give the Mavericks a fighting chance to stay within 10.

Indiana Pacers vs. Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis lost its first game the other night in an absolute barn burner, 134-135, vs. the New Orleans Pelicans. After a 104-108 loss to the Hawks, the Pacers have dropped five straight. With Tyrese Halliburton still weeks away, it is unlikely we will see Indiana step it up anytime soon.

The Grizzlies have the NBA's highest-scoring offense (123 points per game). Indiana’s defense ranks No. 21 (115.6 points per game allowed). Even if the Pacers were playing at full strength, they don’t have enough defense to slow the NBA's highest-scoring offense.

My Pick: Memphis -6.5 at -110

I’m surprised the line is as small as it is. Memphis would probably cover this spread against a healthy Pacers team. But against an injury-ravaged one? The Grizzlies will absolutely cover.
