The Baltimore Ravens were in quarterback trouble this week, as Lamar Jackson went down with a hand injury on the first play of his return from injury. Tyler Huntley then went down with turf toe, which led to Joe Fagnano coming in against the Buffalo Bills.
With uncertainty surrounding the position, the Ravens made the decision to trade for Jacoby Brissett, who was benched for Gardner Minshew this past week against the Dallas Cowboys.
“Trade: the Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a trade to send QB Jacoby Brissett to the Baltimore Ravens, per Ian Rapoport and me. Deal is expected to be completed this weekend. The Ravens lost QB Lamar Jackson to a thumb injury, and his backup Tyler “Snoop” Huntley to turf toe,” ESPN's Adam Schefter wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
