The Charlotte Hornets are beginning the season anew. One of them is that it will be Naz Reid's first season in Charlotte after being traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for LaMelo Ball.
Reid brings a wide range of skills, including a tireless work ethic. The latter of which is rubbing off on new teammate Tidjane Salaun, per @HornetsReddit on X, formerly Twitter.
Salaun, entering his 2nd season in Charlotte, hailed Reid for setting an example in working hard to get better.
“He's a good player, but he's also hungry, and he wants to prove himself,” Salaun said. “Being teammates with him is very cool, and I'm trying to learn from him. All the extra work we share together, I'm trying to take it as experience for my future.”
