Watford striker Michail Antonio has been hit with a six-month driving ban.
Antonio was charged by the Metropolitan Police after he failed to identify the driver of his Lamborghini when it was suspected to be involved in a motoring offence in London in November.
The 36-year-old told Uxbridge Magistrates' Court he was not behind the wheel that night.
Instead, Antonio said he loaned out his car to his cousin while he was away in Manchester.
Antonio claimed he did not receive the police's initial letter, which asked for the driver's identity, and suggested it got lost in the post.
The ex-West Ham ace also gave evidence he was 'shocked' to learn, back in February, that he had been charged with failing to identify the driver.
He told the court that he left his cousin to respond to the charge and believed he had provided details of the guilty driver.

However, Antonio was ultimately found guilty of failing to provide information regarding the identification of the driver when required.
Along with a six-month driving ban, Antonio was ordered to pay a fine and court costs which totalled ã2,050.
Antonio was hit with a ã1,000 fine, ã650 in prosecution costs and a ã400 victim surcharge.
Prior to the verdict being handed down, Antonio already had six points on his licence.
He had previously been convicted of driving without insurance in July 2025.
The additional six points he was given on Thursday meant an automatic six-month disqualification.
Antonio also stands accused of failing to respond to West Midlands police over a speeding offence in his Lamborghini and is set to stand trial over that charge next March.

The 36-year-old's latest off-field woes continue what has been a tumultuous few years.
His football career changed in an instant when he crashed his Ferrari in December 2024 and broke his leg. However, the player admitted he was fortunate to be alive after the crash.
Luckily for Antonio, he was able to complete a full recovery and returned to play with Qatari side Al Sailiya.
He then joined Watford on a one-year deal in September.
