Michael van Gerwen has witnessed his fair share of on-stage quirks from rivals, ranging from the pedestrian to the bizarre.
But there's only one who had 'Mighty Mike' recoiling in disgust.
Speaking on a live stream, Van Gerwen voiced his frustrations about players constantly licking their fingers and then wanting to shake his hand after a game.

"That's why I always give them a fist pump," Van Gerwen said.
"Like Gezzy Price always does, then he wants to shake my hand, the dirty boy.
"Andy Hamilton nearly ate his fingers. It was disgusting. He always had coins in his pocket.
"[Adrian] Lewis was always with his elephant feet."
The constant licking of the fingers wasn't the only hygiene issue that rankled Van Grwen.
"Some people can use a bit of deodorant, but I am not going to say names," Van Gerwen added.

The three-time world champion is not exempt from the lengthy list of players who have their own mid-match rituals, though.
Van Gerwen is known to pull his socks up if he has a below-par visit to the board or if he's falling behind his rival during a game.
"It's not a mental trick," Van Gerwen said.
"It's just a habit. Like [Rafael] Nadal pulling his boxers out of his a***.
"Everyone has their own thing."
Van Gerwen's sock antics have evidently worked for him throughout his career, as his three world titles is second only to Phil Taylor's record-breaking haul of 16.
However, the Dutch star could be joined on three world titles by teenage sensation Luke Littler.
'The Nuke' has won back-to-back world titles and will go into the season-ending event to pull off a remarkable three-peat.
Taylor was the last and only player to have won three world championships in a row, doing so between 2004 and 2006.
