Miami football is making a brand change after being with Adidas since 2015, and they'll now be returning to Nike as both sides have agreed to a 10-year contract worth more than $200 million, according to Daniel Hager of On3. Adidas did have a counteroffer, but it didn't have the same terms as the Nike contract.
Article Continues BelowThere were rumors earlier in the week that Miami planned to come out with their throwback jerseys in the future, but that wouldn't have worked under Adidas. That led to early assumptions that the program was possibly heading back to Nike, as the brand has done throwback jerseys for so many sports teams.
