It appeared the Dallas Wings were on their way to an easy victory against the Phoenix Mercury on Monday. Kahleah Copper, however, showed who the big boss was at Mortgage Matchup Center.

Copper sank the game-winning layup with 2.4 seconds left to power the Mercury past the Wings, 87-86. Phoenix ended the six-game winning streak of Dallas and improved to 16-27. The Wings fell to 26-17.

Copper caught the Wings napping on defense and cut to the basket from the baseline. She received a pinpoint pass from Alyssa Thomas and scored the gutsy bucket, sending the home crowd into jubilation.
