Defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike is back on the active roster for the Lions.
The team announced that they have signed Onwuzurike off of the practice squad. Onwuzurike was released ahead of Week 1 and returned to the practice squad the next day.
Onwuzurike was a second-round pick in 2021 and he played in 42 games over his first four NFL seasons. He missed all of last year with a torn ACL.
The Lions also elevated offensive tackle Devin Cochran and center Seth McLaughlin from the practice squad for Thursday nightâÂÂs road game against the Bills. The Lions ruled out left guard Christian Mahogany and right tackle Blake Miller, so they were short on depth for the matchup.
