The Lions took care of some roster business during their bye week.
They announced that they have placed offensive lineman Ben Bartch, wide receiver Tom Kennedy, and linebacker Devin White on the injured reserve list. All three players will have to miss at least four games before they’ll have a chance to return.
Bartch was inactive in Week 5 due to a foot injury and White broke his forearm in that game. Kennedy is expected to miss the rest of the season with an MCL injury that requires surgery.
The Lions now have three open roster spots to fill. Safety Brian Branch and center Cade Mays have designated for return from injured reserve, so they could take two of those slots.
