The New York Liberty are now on the brink of elimination after losing to the Atlanta Dream in overtime, 101-98, in Game 2 of their best-of-five semifinal series at State Farm Arena on Wednesday.

Naz Hillmon made the go-ahead bucket, while Angel Reese sank a pair of free throws to seal the hard-earned victory for the Dream, who are now a step closer to reaching the WNBA Finals for the first time since 2013.

Breanna Stewart put up a monster performance of 35 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and two blocks. She shot 11-of-21 from the field and 11-of-13 from the charity stripe. Her valiant effort, however, was not enough.

According to Novig, Stewart became the first player in league history to record at least 35 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in the playoffs.
