The Pittsburgh Panthers continue their march for a perfect season as they forced a missed field goal from the Virginia Tech Hokies in a 35-33 thriller on Friday night.

Going into the game, Pittsburgh boasted a 4-0 start to the season. They earned wins over Miami (OH), UCF, Syracuse, and Bucknell, hoping to continue that win streak. They took on a strong Hokies squad that was also perfect with a 4-0 record, defeating the likes of VMI, Old Dominion, Maryland, and Boston College.

Only one of these two teams were going to come out of it undefeated while the other suffered their first loss of the season. The game ended up going down to the final seconds as Virginia Tech had a chance to win the game with three seconds remaining.

However, their field-goal attempt from 36 yards was unsuccessful. It was brutally heartbreaking for the Hokies, but it sent the Panthers to joy as they celebrated the game-saving stop to get the win on the road.
