The Los Angeles Rams should be a very motivated team when they travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. The Rams are looked at as one of the most talented teams in the league and they were favored at the start of the season by many of the game's top observers to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy this year.
They have lost two of their first three games, and they can't afford to give any more games away. They play in the same division with the undefeated San Francisco 49ers (3-0) and the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks (2-1), so it is time for the Rams to cut down on the errors and assert themselves.
In addition to that, they are facing a team in the Eagles that the Rams dominated for large portions of last year's meeting. Los Angeles built a 26-9 lead before they lost their grip and suffered a 33-26 defeat.
The Eagles are coming off a dispiriting 27-7 defeat to the Bears on Monday night football. Chicago's third-string quarterback Case Keenum carved up the Eagles and they were thoroughly outplayed. Both teams will be motivated to rebound in this key Week 4 game at Lincoln Financial Field.
