The Baltimore Ravens are “likely” to be without star quarterback Lamar Jackson for the second consecutive week.

Jackson, who sprained his left ankle in Baltimore’s win over the Tennessee Titans back on October 4, was not available for the media portion of practice on Friday ahead of the Ravens’ game against the Cleveland Browns this weekend. Jackson has not practiced yet this week, which is a sign that Tyler Huntley is in line to start his second game in a row:

Huntley completed 8-of-9 passes for 63 yards in relief of Jackson in the early October game against the Titans, helping Baltimore salt away a 24-18 victory. Huntley got the start for the Ravens against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night, completing 24-of-32 passes for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns, as the Ravens won 30-23 in overtime.

Huntley also started a late-season game against the Green Bay Packers a year ago, guiding Baltimore to a 41-24 victory in Lambeau Field. As noted by Ravens beat reporter Jamison Hensley above, in his last three starts for the Ravens — all wins — Huntley and the offense have averaged over 33 points.

Our own Doug Farrar also named Huntley one of his “AFC Secret Superstars” after his performance against the Falcons.
