The Chicago Bears are still without Caleb Williams due to a hamstring injury. Naturally, media members want to ask whether his injury is more serious than anyone is letting on.
Clearly, it is becoming a thorn in his side, as evidenced by his heated exchange with a reporter, per Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team. He called out the reporting surrounding the nature of his injury.
When asked what grade it was, Williams said, “We got a grade, but I wouldn't say it's deserved to be out there after all the false ones.”
Then, when asked why he kept it private, Williams said, “It's not deserving. Next question. Next question. Thank you.”

One person watching Williams was none other than the always opinionated and ever-so-polarizing Stephen A. Smith. On Friday during an episode of First Take, Smith criticized him for not being more forthcoming.
“The reporter has a right to ask,” Smith said.

Williams has been absent since injuring his hamstring against the Minnesota Vikings during Week 2. Since then, the Bears have taken precautions to ensure Williams can return in full form.
Meanwhile, the Bears have won 2 out of their last 3 games with their backup QBs. After Williams was injured, they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 27-7 in Week 3 with Case Keenum at the helm. The following week, the Bears defeated the New York Jets 23-12, with Tyson Bagent leading the way.
However, Chicago lost to their long-time rival, the Green Bay Packers, 31-7.
So far, Williams has an 85.3 QB rating with 407 passing yards and 2 touchdowns.
