The New York Knicks rallied from a 19-point deficit to defeat the Chicago Bulls, 133-127, at United Center on Wednesday.

The Knicks outscored the Bulls, 43-31, in the fourth quarter, with the finishing crew of Jalen Brunson, Jordan Clarkson, Landry Shamet, OG Anunoby, and Karl-Anthony Towns hitting big shot after big shot. New York improved to 2-3, while Chicago fell to 1-4.

The Knicks had an early scare when Towns went to the locker room in the first quarter after hurting his wrist during a collision with Noa Essengue on a two-man action. Fortunately, it was not serious, and KAT returned to the game.

When asked if he got worried about Towns, coach Mike Brown gave a hilarious response.

“He was still shooting that thang from 30 feet, so the wrist looked OK to me,” said Brown in the postgame conference.

Towns tallied 19 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists. He shot 3-of-6 from long range.

Brunson had a game-high 38 points, seven assists, and two steals, while Anunoby added 23 points and six rebounds. He sank a big three-pointer with 1:39 left in the fourth quarter to give the Knicks an eight-point lead, which proved to be enough of a cushion to fend off the Bulls.

Clarkson and Shamet combined for 32 points on 12-of-21 field goals, including six three-pointers, off the bench.

Towns has been quite durable for the Knicks. As long as he is healthy, the defending champions will always be a tough challenge.

They will visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, with Towns renewing his colorful rivalry with Joel Embiid.
