Tonight, fans can see Jalen Brunson's debut in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which he stars in alongside New York Knicks superfan Mariska Hargitay, and he's feeling “weird” about it.

After the Knicks beat the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, Nov. 4, Brunson was asked if he was excited to see himself in the show. He replied, “It's a weird feeling, but [I'm] grateful for the opportunity, grateful for Mariska. It's pretty cool.”

The episode of Law & Order: SVU featuring Brunson airs on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, at 9 pm EST. Luckily, he will be able to watch it (as will his teammates) since the Knicks have an off day.

He will be reunited with his close friend and Knicks fan Mariska Hargitay, who leads Law & Order as Olivia Benson. This has been in the works for months, as Hargitay confirmed he would appear in the show in August 2026.

This marks Brunson's acting debut, though he recently hosted the Season 52 premiere of Saturday Night Live (SNL) before training camp started.

It has been a whirlwind last few months for Brunson, who led the Knicks to their first championship in 53 years. He was named NBA Finals MVP for his efforts. He scored 45 points in the series-clinching Game 5 in the NBA Finals.

Brunson was on fire against the Bulls in the Knicks' last game. He scored 33 points in 28 minutes, the fewest time he has spent in a game this season. He made 10 of 17 shots and went 50% on three-pointers. Brunson is finally coming alive after a sluggish start to the 2026-27 season.
