After a 3-0 start, it seemed the Las Vegas Raiders were finally going to have a breakthrough season. The optimism, however, has slowly disintegrated, as the Raiders have gone 0-4 since, sending them to the bottom half of the AFC.

While there is still time to get back on track, Las Vegas has to do it soon. One way to do it is by making a move ahead of next month's trade deadline. A key acquisition could spell the difference between flaming out and staying alive.

Coach Klint Kubiak said they are open to any possibility, as reported by The Athletic's Sam Warren.

“We're talking every day about those things. Spy (John Spytek) and his staff do a great job, and that's every day in the NFL. Especially this close to the deadline, you're talking about many scenarios,” said Kubiak.

Kirk Cousins, Maxx Crosby, Jackson Powers-Johnson, and Isaiah Pola-Mao are being floated around as possible candidates ahead of the trade deadline.

The Raiders are hoping to end a four-year absence in the playoffs, but their four-game losing skid has become a major concern.

There has been a growing clamor for Kubiak to replace Cousins with Fernando Mendoza. Kubiak, however, has continued to stick with the veteran quarterback rather than the promising No. 1 pick.

The Raiders will face the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

The Silver and Black lost to the Los Angeles Rams, 35-21, at Allegiant Stadium in Week 7, dropping them to 3-4. Cousins went 26-of-44 for 295 yards and two touchdowns.
