Will Stein and the No. 24 Kentucky Wildcats pulled off a comeback for the ages as they escaped with a 35-34 win over the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday night.
Stein is going through his first year as the Wildcats' head coach, looking to get them back into serious contention as a strong SEC squad. So far, they are off to a strong start with a 3-1 record ahead of Week 5.
Kentucky initially looked like they were on pace to lose. South Carolina boasted a 17-0 lead during the second quarter, but that didn't discourage the Wildcats at all. In fact, they outscored the hosts 35-17 for the rest of the game, going for the win with a two-point conversion in overtime.
