Kenneth Walker had an outstanding debut for the Chiefs on Monday night and now the league has recognized him for the performance.
Walker has been named AFC offensive player of the week.
Walker accounted for 191 yards from scrimmage â 173 rushing, 18 receiving â and two touchdowns as the Chiefs defeated the division-rival Broncos, 31-10.
WalkerâÂÂs 60-yard touchdown in the third quarter helped put the game firmly in Kansas CityâÂÂs hands.
The Super Bowl LX MVP, Walker now has two career player of the week awards.
This is his first time winning a player of the week since 2023.
