The topic in the NFL world this week has been Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts being ruled out for the season because of blood clots that traveled from his calf to his lung. The crazy thing is that Hurts played against the Jacksonville Jaguars with the blood clots in his calf, and then got on a flight to come back to the States.

There have been several players throughout the league who have shared their thoughts about the situation. Kenneth Walker III was the most recent player, as he dealt with blood clots when he was in high school. A reporter asked Walker what he would say to Hurts about the process.

“He went on the flight, huh? And everything? Yeah, that's crazy. Just stay positive,” Walker said.

Walker has firsthand experience with the situation, so he probably knows what Hurts is going through. The difference between their situations is that Walker didn't get on a flight knowing he had blood clots. That's where the NFL Players Association is coming in, as they've demanded an investigation into the medical care that Hurts was given.

Aaron Rodgers also spoke about Hurts' situation, and it doesn't sound like he was too fond of the medical team before any of this happened.

“I don't have a close relationship with Jalen. Obviously, we're in the quarterback fraternity, so you don't want to see anything like that happen to anybody, especially a guy who's throwing the football. Obviously, I don't know the whole details about what's going on. I've seen what's been printed. The guy in charge of all that's all things medical at the NFL office, and I haven't always seen eye to eye about things, so I can't say I'm real surprised,” Rodgers said.
