Coach Nick Sirianni's Philadelphia Eagles have a Monday Night Football home game scheduled for Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys that is coming just after Kenneth Walker's bold take on Jalen Hurts' blood clots situation. Eagles running back Saquon Barkley expressed faith in Hurts' eventual return as injuries began to mount in practice.

The Eagles shared their official injury report for the Cowboys game, and it included a laundry list of familiar names including Barkley, Dallas Goedert and others.

Goedert did not practice on Friday, October 23 ahead of the Cowboys game. Neither did star wideout DeVonta Smith, starting linebacker Jonathan Greenard, starting linebacker Nolan Smith Jr., and fellow starting wideout Dontayvion Wicks.

Barkley's participation was limited, while starting guard Willie Lampkin was limited with an illness.

Sirianni's Eagles are 2-4 entering Week 7 and coming off of four straight losses, including a 25-14 decision against the Carolina Panthers. Hurts' replacement Tanner McKee had his moments in the loss, passing for 215 yards and a touchdown to Smith, who had 75 receiving yards on the day.

Smith and Barkley are among the Eagles' biggest hopes for a resurgence, but both players have been limited or out in practice at various times this week. McKee and the offense have gotten most of the attention, and criticism, but the Eagles' defense still has playmakers to rely on including Jalen Carter up front and Cooper DeJean toward the back end of the defense.

Week 7 against the Cowboys looks like a challenge based on the injury situation, but not all hope is lost in Philadelphia. The Eagles are one of the NFL's deepest teams, and aren't out of the playoff race just yet in an NFC East that could come down to the wire this season.
