The Milwaukee Brewers currently hold a 2-0 World Series lead over the Tampa Bay Rays. They have gone 9-1 so far this postseason. The Brewers are resilient, talented and hungry for the franchise's first World Series victory. MLB insider Ken Rosenthal recently addressed the team's all-around postseason “dominance” during an appearance on Foul Territory.
“I was talking with someone in baseball last night, an executive with another team, it seems to me, if this series goes their way, that this is simply their moment in time,” Rosenthal said. “And we see this with teams, that they get hot. And, for that period, they're the best teams in their respective sports… Right now, (Pat Murphy) has that clubhouse and has that group of players playing in an exquisite way really… Right now, and really the whole season, what we've seen from the Brewers is just this incredible performance, incredible dominance.”
The Brewers find ways to win baseball games. They do not hit many home runs, but this is a ball club that manufactures enough runs. Meanwhile, the defense makes the plays it needs to make and the pitching takes care of the rest. Milwaukee features an all-around team effort, and the ball club is now only two victories away from winning the Fall Classic.
