The Browns have lost wide receiver KC Concepcion for the rest of Sunday’s game against the Jets.

Concepcion stayed down after taking a big hit to the head from Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick while trying to catch a pass. Fitzpatrick was penalized for the hit and Concepcion was eventually able to head to the locker room under his own power.

The Browns quickly announced that Concepcion has been ruled out with a head injury.

The penalty — Fitzpatrick’s second personal foul on the drive — moved the Browns to the Jets’ 12-yard-line, but they couldn’t get much closer and settled for an Andre Szmyt field goal to cut the Jets’ lead to 7-3 with 3:27 to play in the first quarter.
