The Philadelphia 76ers are in the middle of Media Day on Monday, as the club prepares for the upcoming season. Joel Embiid turned heads with his appearance, however, as it appears he has gone through a noticeable weight-loss transformation this offseason.

NBA insider Chris Haynes shared a video on X revealing the 32-year-old's new look. Embiid looks much thinner in comparison to seasons past as he prepares for his first year playing alongside LeBron James.

“Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid has dropped a considerable amount of weight,” Haynes said.
