On Thursday, the Chicago Bears shook things up in a big way by trading for Tennessee Titans star pass rusher Jeffery Simmons. The Bears gave up multiple first-round draft picks in return as they look to shore up their pass rush amid their hot 5-2 start to the season.
The move to acquire Simmons reunites the star with his college teammate at Mississippi State, Montez Sweat, and now, an old video has resurfaced of the two during their days with the Bulldogs in the SEC.

Sweat and Simmons will now look to inflict a similar level of fear in opposing offensive lines and quarterbacks at the NFL level, as they've both turned themselves into reliable veteran pass rushers in the league.
Meanwhile, the blockbuster move from Chicago indicates that the Bears' brass is all-in on competing for a Super Bowl this year, with the team's pass rush being one of the few underwhelming areas on their roster so far this season.
Article Continues BelowIf Simmons can continue to produce at a level similar to what he displayed during his career with the Titans, the Bears could suddenly morph into one of the most terrifying defensive fronts in the NFC.
Meanwhile, Caleb Williams and the offense have been humming along nicely since the star returned from his hamstring injury a couple of weeks ago, with head coach Ben Johnson continuing to find unique ways to utilize his quarterback's talents.
In any case, things won't get any easier from here for Chicago, as the team will next hit the field on Monday evening for a tough road game against the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Kickoff for that matchup is set for 8:15 pm ET.
