No one was prouder of the New York Giants' win over the Arizona Cardinals at MetLife Stadium on Sunday than Jaxson Dart. The Giants beat the Cardinals, 36-24, to improve to 3-1.
Playing in their second game without Dart, who is out for the regular season due to a knee injury, the Giants leaned on Jameis Winston and a defensive stop to survive the Cardinals. Winston went 18-of-29 for 250 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions, while Deonte Banks completed a 98-yard pick-six to seal the victory.
Malik Nabers had his best game since returning from a knee injury with six receptions for 112 yards and a score.
Watching at home, Dart was in disbelief over New York's escape.
“Yes! Oh my God!” said the second-year quarterback.

Similar to their win against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3, the Giants were saved by an interception in crunch time.
On offense, Cam Skattebo and Dominic Zvada also delivered. Skattebo had 18 carries for 58 yards, while Zvada kicked 3-of-3 to stay perfect in the season at 9-of-9.
Coach John Harbaugh lauded their resilience and mindset, as reported by the Associated Press' Stephen Whyno, saying “nobody flinched.”
“It wasn't the most beautiful game as far as playing perfectly. It was a winning game. That's what winning teams do: They find ways to win games, and that's why they're winning teams,” added Harbaugh.
Dart's setback was unfortunate, but it could be a blessing in disguise for the Giants, who have gained the top spot in the NFC East.
They will visit the Washington Commanders in Week 5.
