Apparently, not everyone invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding went, as Jason Kelce called out a fellow ESPN employee for skipping the event of the summer.

During Monday Night Countdown before the Kansas City Chiefs-Denver Broncos game, Kelce talked about the wedding with attendees Pat McAfee and Scott Van Pelt before turning his attention to former NFL defensive lineman Marcus Spears, who skipped it.

“There was another person on the desk invited, but he did no-show us,” he said before turning to face Spears. “I still don't really know why.”

A laughing Spears revealed that he had a “family obligation” involving his son, who has “got a lot of stuff going on,” which Kelce knew. He apologized for missing it, but his son is busy as a star player on the Texas Longhorns basketball team.

Jason Kelce was his younger brother Travis' best man at his wedding. Obviously, he was integral to the ceremony as the Chiefs tight end's older brother.

The older Kelce brother has been married for almost a decade, marrying Kylie McDevitt in April 2018 after meeting on Tinder. They have four daughters.

He shares a close bond with his younger brother. They co-host the New Heights podcast together, which has been airing since they were both playing in the NFL in 2022.

Following his retirement from football, Kelce joined ESPN's Monday Night Countdown pregame show. He sits at the desk to analyze the games before Monday Night Football kicks off every week.

Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding took place on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden. There were a reported thousand guests in attendance. The ceremony was officiated by actor Adam Sandler, who previously starred in Happy Gilmore 2 with Kelce. Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, Avril Lavigne, and more performed that night as well.
