Sacramento Kings guard Ben Simmons has arrived at his new home. Ahead of Simmons' 2026-27 comeback season with the Kings, he posted a picture of himself with an absurd mountain of luggage that's gone viral online.

Simmons signed a one-year deal with the Kings and, in what's most likely an AI-generated photo, is already drawing attention before his first NBA game in two seasons. Simmons posted a picture of himself standing in front of his suitcases on his Instagram story.

Ben Simmons, who agreed to a $3.5 million deal with the Kings, last played for the Brooklyn Nets and the LA Clippers in 2024-25. He averaged 6.2 points, 6.9 assists, and 5.2 rebounds for the former before his mid-season trade. Simmons played in only 18 games for the Clippers, averaging 2.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in LA, where his playing time dipped to 16.4 minutes per game.

While some analyst are skeptical about Simmons finding success with the Kings this upcoming season, others believe he could be on the verge of making one of most impressive comebacks in NBA history.

ESPN's Richard Jefferson said he wouldn't be surprised to see Simmons turn in an All-Star-caliber season for the Kings, per The Aussie Hoops Tour podcast.

“I think you should have no expectations. There are certain basketball, just like many other sports, as much as it is physical, it is mental. Ben's always have the talent. Ben has the talent to be an All-Star this year. If Ben goes and has the best season, he's healthy, his back is right, he has the talent to be an all-defensive player, to be a defensive player of the year level talent because he can guard one through five positions.”

Simmons and the Clippers will begin their preseason when they host the Golden State Warriors on October 4.
