The Atlanta Falcons are set to face off against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday in Week 9. It's an opportunity for the club to get back in the win column after being shut out 16-0 in Week 8 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, the offense will have to play without Brian Robinson Jr., as the backup running back is dealing with an injury.
Reports indicate that the 27-year-old was officially placed on the IR, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Robinson will have to miss at least the next four weeks as he continues dealing with a lingering hamstring issue.
“Falcons placed RB Brian Robinson Jr. on injured reserve,” Schefter reported.
