Indiana football escaped from the clutches of a Nebraska upset attempt in winning 20-17 Saturday. A Cornhuskers win would've snapped the Hoosiers' 21-game winning streak. IU has wide receiver Nick Marsh to thank, who drew love from Robert Griffin III.
The Heisman Trophy winning quarterback from Baylor raved about Marsh's game. He shouted out the wideout after delivering 187 yards, plus scoring the final two touchdowns for the Hoosiers.

Indiana was trailing by 11 before Marsh took the soul out of the Cornhuskers. And in the process silence the crowd that began to increase the decibel levels in Lincoln.
Head coach Curt Cignetti turned to the prized Michigan State transfer to prevent IU's historic streak from snapping. Marsh arrived as a prized transfer portal addition via the Big Ten rival Spartans. Many fans and analysts envisioned that Marsh would ignite this offense even further next to towering wideout Charlie Becker. Plus form immediate chemistry with new quarterback Josh Hoover, who was replacing prized Heisman Trophy winning passer Fernando Mendoza.

So Indiana's schedule gets rigid from here following the Nebraska contest. IU still has No. 5 ranked Ohio State coming back and best believe, the Buckeyes want revenge for losing out on winning the conference title last season. And another nationally-ranked foe comes to Bloomington in current No. 18 the USC Trojans, who head to Penn State for a Saturday evening showdown.
