The Men in Blue ended as runners-up in the 2023 edition of the tournament under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
Team India will have only one aim in the upcoming ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027, and that is to go that last mile and fetch the silverware they missed out on in the 2023 edition, as they faced a heart-shattering loss to Australia in the final on November 19, 2023. In a bid to make amends, the Indians have their task cut out for 2027, as the International Cricket Council has revealed the full schedule for the event.
India are placed in the Group A of the tournament alongside Pakistan, Australia, Zimbabwe, and Afghanistan. The last team of the group will be confirmed at the end of the World Cup League.
