The Atlanta Braves are battling the Philadelphia Phillies in a National League Wild Card series. In Game 1 on Tuesday, Atlanta slugger Ozzie Albies made Major League Baseball postseason history.

The incident occurred in the second inning of the Braves-Phillies game on Tuesday. Philadelphia was leading, 1-0.
Albies is one of eight infielders on the Braves Wild Card roster. Atlanta won the National League East during the 2026 season, holding off the Phillies and other teams.
