The New York Giants released Odell Beckham Jr. from the roster on Tuesday after the two sides agreed to mutually part ways. Ex-teammate Kayvon Thibodeaux apparently learned of the news in the middle of a press conference talking with media members, and gave everyone his immediate reaction to the situation.
Thibodeaux's eyes lit up as soon as the release was mentioned by one reporter. The 25-year-old edge rusher wished Beckham the best, and believes the 11-year veteran will land on his feet elsewhere.
“Odell!?” Thibodeaux exclaimed. “Man, [I] just wish him the best, man. You know, he's a legend in the game. He's fought so hard to make his way back in this league. He's definitely going to be able to make a statement somewhere. So, I'm not worried for him.”

Odell Beckham Jr.'s return to New York was lackluster, to say the least. Although there was some excitement from the fanbase to see the 33-year-old back in action in a Giants uniform, he just wasn't involved with the offense. Beckham saw just one target in three games, and failed to haul it in for a reception.
He now becomes a free agent once again. His future in the NFL is unclear at the moment, but an organization that needs help in the wide receiver position, or needs a veteran leader in the room, could certainly look Beckham's way at some point this year.
The three-time Pro Bowler has 122 appearances under his belt with 97 starts. He hits free agency with 575 receptions, 7,987 yards, and 59 touchdowns.
