Hollywood Brown: I don’t know if chances will come, I just have to work

Wide receiver Hollywood Brown was active for the Eagles’ Week 1 game against the Commanders, but he never got on the field during the 24-22 win.

Brown said this week that there were “no conversations” with coaches leading up to the game about his role. Head coach Nick Sirianni said on Monday that they “obviously want to get him into the football game because his speed is real,” but that the rotations “just didn’t work out that way” last Sunday.

Brown said he is unsure if anything will change against the Titans this week, but that he’ll work to be ready for any opportunity that might come his way.

“That I don’t know,” Brown said, via Ryan Novozinsky of the Philadelphia Inquirer. “I just got to come to work. If it do, it do. If it don’t, it don’t.”

Brown was added to Friday’s injury report as a full participant with a hamstring injury, but has no injury designation for Sunday. Whether that means he’ll be on the field remains up in the air.
