The Houston Texans lost 36-31 to the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 and now face a potential Week 2 shootout without Nico Collins against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. The offense will be tasked with picking up the defense with Jadeveon Clowney out with a knee injury and CJ Stroud searching for a new favorite target in Collins' absence.

ESPN News reporter Ian Rapoport dished on the injury Friday as he shared who may step up this weekend with Collins out.

“(Collins) hurt it this week in practice, did not practice the last two days, officially ruled out,” Rapoport said. “Does not seem to be a major, major injury, hamstrings can be tricky so they do not want to rush him back.

“Minor is better than the alternative, so what this means for the Houston Texans, they're gonna have to rely on some of their depth. (Wide receiver) Jaylin Noel is certainly a name to watch, would not be surprised if he's more involved. And then Kayshon Boutte, the former Patriots receiver, played in the same system in New England, who they traded for this offseason.

“I would expect Kayshon Boutte to be front row center this weekend if he's anything close to the player the Texans believed that they traded for,” Rapoport added.

Stroud passed for 274 yards and two touchdowns to lead coach DeMeco Ryans' team last week. He is facing the pressure of three straight Divisional Round playoff losses, and a call-out by former Texans star Andre Johnson.

Ryans' team has the defense and the running game to lend Stroud a big hand this week, but it will take a team effort against a high-scoring Bengals squad. Boutte and Noel have the talent to give Stroud the help needs in what could be a close game September 20 in Houston.
