Malik Nabers showed his goals of determination of getting back to superstar form that will surely excite New York Giants fans for the rest of the 2026 season and beyond.
Nabers is going through the third season of his NFL career with the Giants. He is coming off injury rehab after tearing his ACL last year.
Nabers talked about his performances so far this season with media, per reporter Jordan Raanan. He revealed he is getting closer to his form before the ACL injury, expressing confidence that he's only getting better.
“I still got like 20% left to get to. 30%. 20 to 30%. But yeah, I mean, I got a lot more left. I got a lot more ahead of me than I see in my potential,” Nabers said. “Even though those two big games that I had, I left many plays out there. Like, just probably drops, dropped the ball on that screen that could have went for 60. That game could have looked a whole lot different, or just the back of the end zone, just focusing on the ball, or just anything plays, or just diving for the ball.”
“That I feel like I could have catched. Like I'm never a person that's gonna always come back and be like I could have got a better ball. I just always feel like I can catch it. Just got to put my body in a position for me to make that catch. So I just feel like I left a lot of plays out there, and that could have been a whole different ball game.”
Malik Nabers says he has "20 to 30%" more to get to coming off the knee injury.
That's scary to think about. He has 27 catches for 233 yards and 2 TDs over the past two weeks. pic.twitter.com/UzZ3hZ7iZG
