On Sunday afternoon, the New York Giants hit the field on the road for a game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Giants entered this one coming off a bye week, looking to pick up their fourth win of the season against the spiraling Eagles.

New York didn't exactly have a great offensive first half in this one, putting just six points on the board and trailing by a bizarre score of 8-6 heading into the locker room for halftime.

At one point, star Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers vented his frustration on the bench amid the rough first half.

“Malik Nabers just threw his helmet down on the bench and it bounced onto the ground. Giants' top receiver is frustrated as NY punts again. He has 2 catches on 2 targets for 25 yards as we near half,” reported Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News on X, formerly Twitter.

Quarterback JJ McCarthy was under constant pressure in the first half, finding himself sacked five times by the Eagles defense, although he did throw for 101 yards in the half.

Meanwhile, as Leonard mentioned, Nabers was only targeted twice, so it's understandable that the team's top offensive weapon would want to see the ball thrown his way a little more often than that.

Although the Giants are in first place in the NFC East, they'll still need to take care of business as often as possible, especially when faced with weaker competition like the spiraling Eagles.

At the conclusion of this game, the Giants will next hit the field on Thursday vs the Washington Commanders.
