While there is conversation around the New York Giants' situation with star Cam Skattebo, one who expressed confusion around the team's usage of running backs was Najee Harris. As Giants head coach John Harbaugh responded to Harris' confusion, the team's latest move has brought the running back's outlook to a close.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, New York is cutting Harris after he recorded four carries for two yards in the 34-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints and totaled 31 attempts with the team.
“Source: The #Giants are releasing RB Najee Harris, another RB shakeup,” Rapoport wrote on X Tuesday morning, formerly Twitter.
