Florida had a dominant win over the weekend, defeating Ole Miss 52-28. The victory put Florida in the top 10 of the AP Top 25. In the contest, Jadan Baugh was amazing. He ran the ball 29 times for 142 yards and three touchdowns.

Now, in the latest ClutchPoints' 2027 NFL Mock Draft, Tim Crean has Baugh sneaking into the first round.

Crean has the Florida running back taking a short trip down the road to Jacksonville, being selected 29th overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“The Jaguars are a team smartly built in the trenches around franchise QB Trevor Lawrence. However, it is now time to provide the signal-caller with more weapons. It looks like the Jags have found a WR1 in Parker Washington, so now it is time to bulk up the run game with Florida’s 6-foot-1, 225-pound battering ram, Jadan Baugh,” Crean wrote.

It is the only running back that the mock draft has going in the first round. If a running back is going to go in the first round, Baugh is the best option. This year, he has run for over 135 yards in every game. Further, he has scored at least twice in every contest. The worst game of the year for Baugh came in Week 2 against Campbell, when he did not play the entire game. He ran for 136 yards with two touchdowns in that contest.

Overall, Baugh is second in the nation with 600 yards while sitting first with 11 touchdowns already. His 7.2 yards per carry is sixth among backs with 50 or more carries this year.

Baugh has a chance to improve his Heisman campaign on Saturday, as Florida visits Missouri on Saturday.
