After the controversial moment when Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham fouled A'ja Wilson, causing the Las Vegas Aces star to get into a heated confrontation with a fan, the former Phoenix Mercury player took a shot at her opponent.

She took to TikTok after the game to take a shot at Wilson. Cunningham talked about the pointing gesture's “comeback year” after she made it famous during the season, and this was seemingly about Wilson's interaction with the fam who pointed at her after the foul. She wrote, “IYKYK… yikes,” over the video.

“Not trying to be dramatic at all, like, seriously, I'm was just here having my morning coffee and what a d**n comeback year for the point,” she said. “Who would've ever thought… just who would've ever thought?”

Fans took it right back at her in the comments section of BrickCenter's repost of her post on X, formerly Twitter. One fan used a pointing gesture emoji to accompany a screenshot of her stats from the Fever's season-ending Game 3 loss to the Aces. Cunningham only scored five points and had a -18 +/-.

Of course, she had a fair share of supporters, but the post gained more traction after the Fever lost. An X user said, “All of this to end with 5 points [loudly crying face emoji].”

“A'ja Wilson put up 36 points and 10 rebounds,” one fan pointed out, “Meanwhile Sophie Cunningham was a -18 during her time on the floor[.] Enjoy Cancun making lame TikTok videos lol.”

Even the Aces trolled Cunningham by posting the famous video of a woman on a flight who claimed a passenger wasn't real. They posted a clip of her saying, “But I am telling you right now, that motherf****r back there is not real. As she points to the back of the plane, the video cuts to a still image of Wilson who looks like she's smirking.

The Fever's season came to an end in Game 3 against the Aces. The now-infamous pointing moment happened in Game 2, the Fever's lone win in the series.

Like her or not, Wilson was dominant for the Aces against the Fever. She averaged 32 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. During the regular season, she averaged 26 points per game. Meanwhile, Cunningham averaged 7.9 points per game. In the Fever's series against the Aces, she averaged 7.3 points per game, with her series-high being 13 points in Game 1.
