Week 1 rewarded managers who trusted matchup over reputation, and Week 2 offers a fresh batch of calls built the same way. Below is a quick look back at last week's picks before diving into three new starts and three new sits for the week ahead.

Last week's start recommendations delivered. Parker Washington led the Jaguars in catches, yards and targets in their Week 1 win over Cleveland, hauling in five of six targets for 83 yards and a 30-yard touchdown. Christian Watson was even more explosive, torching Minnesota for six catches on eight targets, 147 yards and two touchdowns, including an 81-yard catch-and-run, in Green Bay's Week 1 loss.

The sit calls hit too. Courtland Sutton managed just one catch for five yards on two targets in a lopsided Broncos loss to Kansas City. Carnell Tate's NFL debut was modest, four catches for 38 yards on six targets in a loss to the Jets. Jordan Addison was the quietest of all, failing to catch either of his two targets in Minnesota's win over Green Bay, finishing with a 17.4% target share.

Garrett Wilson, Jets vs. Packers — Wilson looked fully healthy in Week 1, catching six passes for 79 yards to lead all Jets receivers in New York's 23-10 victory against  Tennessee. The Jets are catching a Green Bay defense that just surrendered 92 yards and two scores on eight catches to Justin Jefferson. Wilson projects as a high-floor WR2 with legitimate WR1 upside in a game that could turn into a shootout.

Davante Adams, Rams vs. Giants — Adams was quiet in Week 1, catching just three of six targets for 26 yards while playing only 54% of Los Angeles's offensive snaps. But that usage was reportedly puzzling given his talent, and a Monday night home matchup against a Giants defense gives him a clear bounce-back spot. View him as a mid-range WR2 even after the down performance, and a full return to normal usage could push him well past that floor.

Terry McLaurin, Commanders vs. Cowboys — McLaurin was largely a non-factor in Washington's Week 1 loss to Philadelphia, but expect an immediate bounce back in a far more favorable matchup against Dallas. The Cowboys' pass defense struggled to close out their own Week 1 game, and McLaurin's talent and target share with Jayden Daniels make him a strong regression candidate toward his established WR2 form.

Week 2 Sit ‘Em

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (15) runs onto the field during player introductions before an NFC Divisional Round game against the Los Angeles Rams at Soldier Field.

Rome Odunze, Bears at Vikings — Odunze was quiet in Week 1 despite Chicago's offense exploding for 59 points, catching just two of three targets for 52 yards. Minnesota's defense is a considerably tougher draw than Carolina's, and with only three targets in a blowout win, Odunze's target share is a real concern heading into a lower-scoring divisional matchup.

Brian Thomas Jr., Jaguars at Broncos — Thomas exited Week 1 with a shoulder injury after catching just three passes for 40 yards, and while he's expected to play in Week 2, he'll be limited in practice all week. An ailing shoulder and a tougher Denver defense make him a risky start until he shows he's back to full strength.

Jalen Coker, Panthers at Falcons — Coker exploded for eight catches on nine targets, 138 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1, but that kind of workload came in the highest-scoring Week 1 game in NFL history, against one of the worst secondaries in the NFL and is unlikely to repeat. A road matchup against Atlanta is a tougher environment, and touchdown-dependent breakouts like this one are notoriously difficult to sustain in back-to-back weeks.
