With the Miami Heat starting the season 0-3 after another disappointing loss on Saturday night to the Charlotte Hornets, 115-110, there's no denying that the team is going through immense frustration after an exciting buildup to the season. As Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the way for the Heat, the team is still looking to acclimate to one another, as head coach Erik Spoelstra speaks on what's needed from the roster.
It was another down performance within the margins for Miami as the team shot 43 percent from the field and 37 percent from three-point range (13 of 35), as there were struggles against Charlotte, which was without Kon Knueppel and Coby White.
The Heat would lose steam in the second and third quarters of the contest, but went on a 25-4 run to start the fourth quarter to turn a 21-point deficit into a tie game with under six minutes left in the game.
Though still losing at the end, Spoelstra found it “inspiring,” saying that Miami is looking for “inspiration,” according to The Miami Herald.
“That was inspiring, and ultimately what I told our team right now is we need inspiration,” Spoelstra said. “We need a lot more inspiration throughout the course of 48 minutes. It’s a powerful thing when you can inspire your teammate to make an extraordinary effort, and we will.”
The Heat say they're not in “panic mode”
A Heat lineup of Davion Mitchell, Tim Hardaway Jr., Pelle Larsson, Bobby Portis Jr., and Bam Adebayo inspired that run as Giannis Antetokounmpo got in early foul trouble.

“We just got to keep fighting, keep pushing,” Mitchell said. “It’s a new team; we’re kind of learning each other’s personalities, learning each other’s games still. I mean, this is Game 3. We’re not in panic mode.”
The Heat look for their first win of the season on Monday night, as the team faces the Dallas Mavericks.
