The Philadelphia 76ers have started the season undefeated, and they'll be looking to keep the streak going against the Detroit Pistons, who also have yet to lose a game. The 76ers are on the second game of a back-to-back, which means there could be some players who don't play in this one. LeBron James was out with a back injury against the Milwaukee Bucks, and he could possibly suit up to face the Pistons.
As for Joel Embiid, the 76ers may still be leaning towards sitting him out on back-to-backs, and he is listed on the injury report.
Here is James and Embiid's injury status against the Pistons.

LeBron James, Joel Embiid's injury status vs. Pistons
James is not listed on the injury report against the Pistons, so it looks like he is a full go after missing the 76ers' previous game. As for Embiid, he is listed as out with right plantar fasciitis management. This should come as no surprise, as it's very early in the season and the team wants to keep one of their key players fresh.
After their win against the Bucks, Embiid was asked if he would play in the second game of the back-to-back.

“But it doesn't really matter. It's all about the season going well. So I guess the more time you can get to recover, the better, and then get used to it. But yeah, I want to play tomorrow. So I'll start writing articles.”
As much as Embiid may want to play, the 76ers are playing it safe.
